Tour Plan
- Start day with shared jeep transfer from Manali bus stand to Jobra, Receive briefings from trek guide.
- The trek is a 2 km path through mixed pine, green maple, and birch tree forests alongside the River Rani.
- Admire stunning views of rocky hills and Himachal topography.
- Overnight stay at Chika campsite.
Start the day with a pleasant trek from Chika campsite to Ghera ka Balu.
Enjoy the first glimpse of the outer Himalayan mountain range and the Dhauladhar range.
Spend the night at Balu ka Ghera campsite.
- Trek From Balu Ka Gera To Sheagoru (12,254 Feet) Via Hampta Pass (14,035 Feet).
- Start early and trek from Balu Ka Gera to Hampta Pass, which offers panoramic views of the Himalayas.
- Spend some time at the pass, taking in the magnificent vistas and enjoying the serene atmosphere.
- Start descending through a narrow and steep trail. Exercise caution, as the path is often covered with scree (loose stones).
- Reach the Sheagoru campsite by late afternoon, where your camps will be pitched near the Sheagoru river.
- Enjoy a hearty dinner at the campsite and spend the night in tents, surrounded by the beauty of the Himalayas.
- Today's trek is the easiest, with a descent all the way to Chattru (10,898 Feet). It takes approximately 3 hours to reach the Chattru campsite.
- Take a break, have lunch, and relax at the Chattru campsite.
- If the weather permits, the next destination is Chandratal lake (14,074 Feet). The drive from Chattru to Chandratal takes about 4-5 hours. Make a stop at Batal to take photos at the famous Chacha Chachi ka Dhaba.
- Reach Chandratal and marvel at the beauty of this high-altitude alpine lake.Chandratal, also known as Moon Lake, is located on the Samudra Tapu plateau in the Spiti valley.
- Situated at an altitude of 4,290 meters above sea level, the lake is renowned for its clear blue waters, stunning views of CB-12 peak, and pristine environment.
- After exploring Chandratal, return to Chattru following the same route. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.
